Mike SHINODA Mike Shinoda is a Japanese-American musician, rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and graphic designer. He is best known as the co-lead vocalist, songwriter, and keyboardist for the rock band Linkin Park. He has also released two solo albums, Fort Minor: The Rising Tied (2005) and Post Traumatic (2018). Shinoda was born in Agoura Hills, California, to a Japanese American father and an English American mother. He began playing piano at the age of five and started rapping at the age of twelve.
